Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Bristol (Hybrid Work Available)

About the Role

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial team on allocated projects. Reporting to the Managing Surveyor, you’ll assist with the day-to-day management of commercial activities, ensuring projects are delivered in line with company and client expectations. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets and cost plans.
  • Support in the preparation of tender documents and procurement processes.
  • Monitor project progress and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the commercial team.

About You

  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within construction or fit-out projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining compliance and quality standards.
