The Quantity Surveyor Role
As a Quantity Surveyor at Raise Projects, you’ll play a key role in driving the commercial success of diverse, high-profile projects while maintaining the company’s hallmark quality and attention to detail. Working closely with Ryan primarily, and the wider delivery team, you will:
- Prepare and analyse cost plans and tender documentation
- Manage subcontractor accounts, variations, and valuations
- Conduct monthly cost and value reviews and oversee project cash flow
- Negotiate with clients and supply-chain partners
- Provide commercial advice and insight throughout project lifecycles

Required Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
- RICS membership (or working toward APC)
- Demonstrable experience within main contracting or construction management
- Strong understanding of contracts, procurement, and cost control
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

This role is based at Raise Projects’ new headquarters at The Printworks in Bristol, with travel to local sites across the region.
