Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Bristol
Day Rate: £400 - £500 a day inside IR35 (Negotiable for the right candidate)
Contract Duration: 6 months (potential to extend)

The Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial ownership of a key work package, reporting directly to the Commercial Manager. You will lead monthly reporting, cost assessment, and variation analysis, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Your responsibilities will also include reviewing and interpreting NEC contracts, mentoring junior team members, and working closely with both the project and commercial teams. From inception to completion, you will be accountable for accurate forecasting and cost control.

Requirements
We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a background in civil engineering or construction, and demonstrable experience working with NEC contracts.
You should have previous experience working with either a main contractor or consultancy and be confident in reporting, cost control, and contract administration. You’ll also be comfortable managing your own workstream and supporting junior team members.
