Head of Product SaaS Logistics Platform
Bristol,  £80,000 plus performance bonus

Employal is partnering with a fast-growing, technology-driven logistics business that is transforming how vehicles and suppliers connect across the UK and Europe. Their SaaS platform is powering smarter, faster, and greener logistics solutions, and with ambitious growth targets ahead, they are now seeking a Head of Product to help lead the next stage of their journey.

The role:
This is a senior leadership role where you will define and deliver the product vision and roadmap, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the board. You will bridge commercial strategy, customer needs, and technical delivery to ensure the platform evolves into a market-leading SaaS-enabled logistics solution.
You will inherit an outsourced development and BA team, and lead on delivering new features such as AI-driven tools, advanced ESG dashboards, supplier onboarding, and international compliance modules.

Key responsibilities:

• Own and deliver the product roadmap in line with growth ambitions
• Translate business strategy and client insight into clear product initiatives
• Lead backlog prioritisation, sprint planning, and feature delivery
• Drive adoption of AI and ESG reporting features
• Ensure scalability, usability, and ROI of all product developments
• Act as product champion with the CEO, board, and investors

The candidate

• Proven Head of Product or Senior Product Manager in SaaS, platform, or marketplace environments
• Strong knowledge of Agile delivery, with experience managing outsourced development teams
• Commercially astute, confident in linking product strategy to revenue and client outcomes
• Technically fluent, comfortable with APIs, integrations, and data-driven products
• Background in logistics, supply chain, or mobility is highly desirable
• A confident communicator, able to engage across C-suite, operations, and clients
• Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and motivated by scale-up growth

In return:

• Salary circa £80,000 plus significant performance bonus
