Internal Sales Person Electrical Wholesaler

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Person to join our established electrical wholesale business in Avonmouth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with sales experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong customer relationships. As an Internal Sales Person, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, providing expert product knowledge, processing orders efficiently, and delivering exceptional service that keeps clients coming back.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming sales enquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism and efficiency
  • Process customer orders accurately and ensure timely delivery
  • Provide technical product advice and recommendations to customers Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities for account growth
  • Generate quotations and follow up on sales opportunities
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales data in the system
  • Work closely with the external sales team and branch management to achieve sales targets
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry developments
  • Handle customer queries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in an internal sales, customer service, or trade counter role
  • Knowledge of electrical products and the electrical wholesale industry is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Confident using IT systems and CRM software
  • Target-driven mindset with a passion for achieving results
  • Team player who can also work independently
  • Professional telephone manner and customer-focused approach
