Accounts Assistant
Synoptix are seeking an Accounts Assistant for a 15 month Fixed Term Contract.
The Role:
Reporting to the Financial Director you will be responsible for the effective and accurate processing of Client and supplier invoices on the companies’ systems (Xero and WorkFlow Max). Duties will include but are not limited to the following.
- Manage and control sales ledger
- Manage and control purchase ledger
- Raise Customer invoices in a timely manner
- Process payments for all supplier invoices and staff expenses
- Liaise with Customers, internal departments, and external suppliers to help resolve any issues
- Reconcile bank transactions
- Assist with other relevant duties
Skills / Experience Required:
- Xero accounts package or similar online software experience is preferable, training on Xero will be given
- Experience operating within an accounts department
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working Arrangements:
- Full time (will consider 30-37.5 hrs per week)
