Service Advisor

We're currently seeking a Service Advisor for a busy Bristol branch.
This role serves as the liaison between customers and service technicians and acts as the face of the business when customers visit for service or repair. Responsibilities include greeting customers, listening to their concerns, scheduling appointments, estimating costs, and conducting inspections. Service Advisors work closely with customers to understand vehicle issues, determine repair timelines, and communicate effectively with technicians to ensure accurate repair descriptions are conveyed.
Duties will include:
Communicating with customers regarding their vehicle needs
Maintaining positive relationships with customers to ensure repeat business
Using online bookings, phone calls, and in-person interactions to schedule appointments, vehicle drop-offs, and pick-ups, using in-house and manufacturer systems
Keeping customers updated about the status of their vehicle in the workshop
Liaising with technician colleagues to ensure vehicles are ready on time
About You:
An active listener and excellent communicator
Positive, customer-focused attitude
Takes ownership of the role
Derives job satisfaction from delivering excellent service
Comfortable working to deadlines
Holds a full UK driving licence
If you have Service Advisor experience, that's a plus-but Our Client is also open to candidates with a strong background in customer service and the right attitude.
Salary, Hours and Benefits:
Set rota including some Saturday mornings (approx. 47.5 hours per week)
Basic salary of 28,500-30,000 plus bonuses
31 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays)
