About this Role:
Experienced / Ambitious Senior Engineer required to work with this regional business unit of a Tier 1 main contractor to undertake the technical engineering aspects on this large 60m new build industrial building in Avonmouth, Bristol.
Working as Senior Engineer from late preconstruction to commencement on the site in the autumn, you will work closely with the project teams, and be responsible for technical engineering aspects of the project throughout construction, review of design information, setting out for grid lines, resolving technical queries and liaising with structural engineers, checking sub-contractor engineering and QA, coordination of temporary works, issue resolution, etc.
You will have significant input to the management and the delivery of key packages including the groundworks, piling, steel frame and external works.

The contractor is a Tier 1 main contracting group, with experience and a proven track record in the delivery of large new build commercial and industrial buildings ranging from 40m to 100m in value.
Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
You will be degree qualified, with experience of undertaking a similar Senior Engineer role on a large new build project working with the main contractor.
You will possess excellent technical knowledge, communication skills, strong planning and problem solving ability, with a positive, 'get it right first time' approach.
Previous experience of working on a large new build industrial building is essential for this role.
