They’ve got a strong track record of progressing TAs into HLTA or teacher training pathways.
The school is seeking a confident, reliable and nurturing KS1 Teaching Assistant to support across Year 1 or Year 2. You don’t need to be qualified, but experience in a primary or EYFS setting is essential — this could be from a school, nursery, or childcare environment.
You’ll need:
- A calm, consistent and positive approach to classroom support
- Strong communication and initiative
- The ability to work in small groups, especially for reading & phonics
- A valid DBS or willingness to apply for one
The Role Includes:
- Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day routines and lessons
- Helping to deliver phonics, reading and numeracy interventions
- Supporting learning through play, discussion, and visual aids
- Building strong relationships with staff, children and parents
- Option to work part-time or full-time, depending on your availability
