TeacherActive are working with a welcoming primary school in central Bristol that is urgently seeking a KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately.

• Support pupils across Year 1 and Year 2, focusing on phonics, reading and early numeracy

• Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging, differentiated activities

• Build positive relationships with pupils and help create a calm, inclusive learning space

• Provide small-group and 1:1 support, encouraging confidence and independence

• Experience supporting children in a KS1 or EYFS setting (school, nursery or childcare)

• A calm, consistent and proactive approach to classroom support

• Strong communication skills and confidence leading small groups

• Enhanced Child-Only DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
