Your new companyWe are recruiting for a well-known organisation who specialises in finding suitable accommodation for vulnerable women, including those with mental health and drug addiction issue and those escaping domestic abuse. This is an ongoing ad-hoc position, ideal for experienced Support Workers looking to take on additional shifts. A valid enhanced DBS will be required for this position.

Your new roleThe role involves providing support to women by assessing their needs, creating support plans, and ensuring the delivery of recovery-oriented, practical, and psychological support. This includes working closely with service users to empower them, monitor progress, and maintain a safe and supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:* Identify eligible service users and ensure timely updates to the Housing Support Register (HSR).* Carry out assessments to determine support needs and risks, ensuring quick access to support.* Develop and review support plans and Outcomes Stars in collaboration with service users.* Offer practical and psychological support to women on caseload, promoting recovery.* Maintain a safe and supportive environment in allocated properties.This position is £15.00 p/h (inclusive of holiday) What you'll need to succeed* You will require a full driving licence and access to a vehicle with business cover.* An Enhanced DBS.* Preferably you will have a CIH qualification or 2+ years of relevant experience.* Excellent time management, communication, problem-solving, and people skills.* Discretion when handling sensitive information.What you'll get in returnYou will receive a competitive pay rate and the opportunity to work with and empower service users to truly make a difference.
