Location: Avonmouth, Bristol

Pay: 13 per hour | 27,040 per annum (based on 40 hours/week)

Shifts: 12-hour shifts (8am-8pm) | Day shifts, waking nights, or flexible rota available

Support: 2:1 care for a 17-year-old young man with autism


Are you a compassionate, reliable individual looking to make a meaningful difference in someone's life? We're seeking dedicated Support Workers to join a small, consistent team providing 24/7 specialist care for a 17-year-old non-verbal young man with autism and behaviours that may challenge.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support a vibrant and active individual who enjoys walking, swimming, baking, and cooking. You'll play a vital role in helping him thrive, stay safe, and engage in the activities he loves.


About the Role:

  • Work as part of a 2:1 care team, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the young man at all times
  • Promote independence, inclusion, and positive routines through engaging, tailored support
  • Follow structured care plans and work closely with experienced professionals and family
  • Provide consistent emotional and behavioural support
  • Opportunity to work either day shifts, waking nights, or a mix of both


Ideal Candidate:

  • Calm, patient, and resilient under pressure
  • Experience with autism and behaviours that challenge is desirable but not essential - full training provided
  • Comfortable working 12-hour shifts
  • Must be over 18
  • A driver is helpful but not essential
