We are seeking experienced and compassionate Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurses to join our agency team and support NHS and private hospitals across Bristol. As an agency ICU nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to critically ill patients in high-pressure environments, with the flexibility to choose your shifts and locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care to critically ill patients, including those on life support.

  • Administer medications, manage IVs, and monitor patient vitals using advanced ICU equipment.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, physiotherapists, and other specialists.

  • Respond promptly to emergencies, acting swiftly and appropriately.

  • Document all care provided in accordance with hospital policies and NMC standards.

  • Offer emotional support to patients and families in high-stress situations.

Requirements

  • Valid NMC registration as an RGN (Adult).

  • Minimum 12 months recent ICU or critical care experience in the UK.

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Up-to-date Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously.

  • Flexibility to cover varying shift patterns, including weekends and nights.
