Waking Night Support Worker - Children's Residential Home
Location: Keynsham
Pay: 12.90 - OTE 23,500 (starting salary)

Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people?

We are looking for a dedicated Waking Night Support Worker to join a therapeutic residential home for children and young people. The home provides a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for young people who may have experienced trauma, disrupted attachments, or challenging life circumstances.

What you'll be doing:

  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of the young people overnight

  • Providing emotional support and responding to any incidents or needs

  • Completing necessary documentation and night-time routines

  • Keeping the environment safe, clean, and calm during the night

  • Supporting a consistent and therapeutic approach as part of a wider care team

What we're looking for:

  • Experience working in children's residential care

  • A Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People (or equivalent) - desirable

  • A full UK driving licence - essential

  • Excellent communication and de-escalation skills

  • A caring, resilient, and consistent approach to working with vulnerable young people
