Our client, a leading player in the engineering industry, is seeking a talented Precision Soldering Specialist to join their dynamic team in Thornbury. What You'll Do:

In this temporary full-time role, you will play a crucial part in our workshop, where your talents in fabrication and assembly will shine. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Brazing and Fabrication: Work on pipework assemblies that are vital to our projects.
  • Mechanical Build and Assembly: Contribute to the assembly of vacuum system components, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Follow Engineering Drawings: utilise your ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and build instructions effectively.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist the wider workshop team to meet project deadlines, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
  • Safety First: Maintain safe working practises in accordance with workshop procedures, ensuring a secure environment for everyone.

Who You Are:

We're looking for an enthusiastic individual who embodies the following key skills and experience:

Hands-On Experience: Proven background in either fabrication, welding, soldering or brazing

  • Mechanical Assembly Skills: Strong mechanical assembly experience, particularly with compressors, pipework, or similar components.
  • Detail-Oriented: Ability to read and follow engineering drawings meticulously.
  • Flexible & Reliable: A proactive approach to workshop work with a commitment to reliability.
