About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide personalised assistance to pupils with a variety of learning difficulties and complex needs.
  • Support students one-to-one and in small groups, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
  • Create a nurturing, inclusive, and positive learning space where every child feels valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students' learning, development, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, accessible lessons.
  • Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies.
  • Encourage confidence, independence, and resilience in learners.
