  • Providing tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs
  • Collaborating with class teachers and SENCOs to implement individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Creating a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
  • Supporting pupils with communication, sensory, emotional, and behavioural needs
  • Assisting with classroom organisation, resources, and inclusive learning activities

  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience working with children with SEN (in a school or other setting) - highly desirable
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification - an advantage, but not essential
