About the Role:

We are looking for adaptable and proactive Cover Supervisors with at least two years of UK-based school experience and a background in SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). You will play a critical role in maintaining learning continuity by supervising classes during teacher absences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a safe and productive environment.
  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans, ensuring students remain on task.
  • Support students with their learning and address questions.
  • Foster positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Adapt to the needs of students, including those with SEND.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of two years in UK schools as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role.
  • SEND Expertise: Experience supporting students with SEND is essential.
  • Education Background: Graduates in fields such as humanities, psychology, or education-related courses are highly valued.
  • Skills:
  • Strong behaviour management.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Personable and adaptable, with transferable skills.
  • Resilient, proactive, and flexible in approach.

Additional Preferences:

  • Drivers Preferred: Ability to commute within 30 minutes by car or 1 hour by public transport.
  • Qualifications: Level 2+ in Early Years or a related field is a plus.
