Vivid Healthcare are looking for an experienced Band 7 Emergency Nurse Practitioner to join a busy unit in Bristol.
Pay: Up to £50 per hour***
Position Details: Must have at least 6 months UK experience and ideally hold and up to date mandatory training certificate.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Assessment and Treatment: Conducting initial patient assessments, diagnosing conditions, and providing appropriate treatment for minor injuries and illnesses.
- Autonomous Practice: Exercising clinical autonomy in decision-making, including ordering and interpreting investigations, and initiating treatment or referral.
- Discharge Planning and Referrals: Ensuring effective discharge planning, including providing advice and support to patients, and referring patients to other services when necessary.
- Patient and Family Communication: Communicating effectively with patients, their families, and other members of the multidisciplinary team regarding patient care and management.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records.
- Education and Mentorship: Providing education and support to junior staff and other members of the healthcare team.
- Clinical Governance: Ensuring that all clinical practice adheres to relevant guidelines and standards.
- Quality Improvement: Contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the department.
- Leadership and Teamwork: Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to service development, and potentially leading or coordinating specific projects or initiatives.
Professional Development: Maintaining and updating their own clinical knowledge and skills.

To be successful for this role, you must be a fully qualified nurse with a minimum of 6 months recent experience within a UK based hospital.
