The position of Asbestos Surveyor involves conducting various types of asbestos surveys, including management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys, as well as air monitoring and airborne fibre counting.
Candidates should possess a BOHS P402, P403, or P404 qualification, or equivalent RSPH qualifications, along with a full UK driving licence and a flexible approach to travel.
The role requires familiarity with relevant asbestos legislation and guidance, including HSE regulations.
The salary for this position includes paid overtime and travel expenses, averaging between £3,000 and £4,000 annually.
Applicants are expected to have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in asbestos surveying and inspection.

Asbestos Surveyor

Carrying out asbestos surveying and inspection, including management, refurbishment and demolition surveys as well as asbestos in the ground
Air monitoring and airborne fibre counting
Inspection of remediation work, signing off removal works or rejecting unsatisfactory removals as part of the 4SC process
Collection of factual and numerical site data
Familiarity and compliance with all asbestos relevant legislation and guidance e.g HSE and construction

More About You:

A BOHS P402, P403 or P404, equivalent RSPH qualifications or Certificate of Competence
Working knowledge of both HSG:248 The Analysts’ Guide and HSG:264 The Survey Guide
Full UK driving licence (manual)
Flexible approach to travelling and out-of-hours working
