Pay: £12.21ph - £18.00ph holiday pay

We’re currently recruiting reliable, hard-working Summer Cleaning Staff to support our Facilities & Accommodation Services team during the university’s summer break. This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking temporary work, whether you're a student, a seasonal worker, or simply looking for a summer job with daytime hours.
What You'll Be Doing
As part of the cleaning team, you’ll play a key role in preparing university buildings and student accommodations for summer visitors, events, and the upcoming academic year. Duties will vary day-to-day, and you'll be working in a mix of residential halls, classrooms, offices, and communal areas.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and shared spaces
- Emptying bins, vacuuming, mopping, and wiping down surfaces
- Deep cleaning areas as required between student departures
- Replenishing cleaning and hygiene supplies
- Reporting any maintenance or repair needs
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
- Working to cleaning schedules and checklists provided by supervisors
What We’re Looking For
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds. No formal experience is required, but a good attitude and strong work ethic are essential. Full training, uniforms, and equipment will be provided.
