Are you an organised and proactive Transport Planner looking to join a well-established company that's going places?
We're working with a growing, reputable transport business based in Bristol - proud members of a leading pallet network - who are looking to expand their friendly and professional transport team.
The Role
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day planning and coordination of collections and deliveries across the network. Working closely with drivers, customers, and the wider operations team, you'll ensure all routes run smoothly, efficiently, and on time.
Key Duties:
Plan and schedule daily transport operations
Coordinate with drivers, depots, and customers to ensure seamless service
Optimise routes and loads for cost-effectiveness and efficiency
Monitor performance and address any issues quickly and professionally
Ensure full compliance with all transport legislation and company policies
About You
Proven experience as a Transport Planner (ideally within a pallet network or haulage environment)
Strong geographical knowledge - South West
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
A positive team player with great attention to detail
Benefits
Salary up to 35,000 per year, depending on experience
Monday to Friday working hours - no weekends!
