Responsibilities & Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
Complete diagnostic, service, and repair work efficiently and to the highest standard.
Maintain accurate records and job cards, ensuring quality and compliance on all work carried out.
Collaborate with the workshop team to ensure daily targets and time-saving bonus thresholds are met.
Work with a proactive attitude towards health and safety, cleanliness, and vehicle care.
Engage in continuous learning and development to keep up with the latest vehicle technologies.
What We’re Looking For:
NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair - This is essential.
Proven experience in a technician role within a dealership or fast-paced independent setting - Minimum of 6 months experience required = £33,000 starting salary!
A high level of attention to detail and a commitment to first-time fix.
Ability to work productively under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
A team player with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
A full UK driving licence.
The Package:
£33,000 starting salary - Fully qualified = £45,000 basic salary.
Time-Saved Bonus - paid on productivity when consistently selling 7+ hours per day.
High productivity and efficiency = ability to earn over £1,000 per month in bonus.
Flat rate overtime available
Flexible shift patterns to suit your lifestyle:
Option 1: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with Saturday rota (1 in 3).
Option 2: 4-day rota - 7:30am-6:00pm with a rolling day off and no weekends.
