Plant Technician

Avonmouth, Bristol

30,000 - 38,000 (depending on qualifications)

Full-time (42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday)

If you are experienced mechanical technician with a background working on plant equipment then this could be ideal for you. This could also suit someone with experience in other mechanical maintenance roles or someone with a background in the motor trade who is looking to move into a new industry.

The company are a leading plant hire business who supply a range of equipment across different industries. As a skilled Plant Technician, you will maintain equipment to the highest standards, ensuring it consistently meets or exceeds customer expectations.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Conduct equipment repair and pre-hire inspections.
  • Perform maintenance on various equipment.
  • Handle electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs.
  • Service and inspect all equipment regularly.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained with the highest standards of cleanliness, functionality, and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience within the plant hire or equipment industry.
  • Team player with a supportive attitude towards colleagues.
  • Self-motivated with a flexible approach to the working environment.
  • A full UK driving license is advantageous but not essential.
  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification.
