About the Role
Simply Education is working with a secondary school in Broadstairs seeking a passionate and dedicated RE Teacher to join their team from January. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated educator to inspire students in exploring world religions, ethics, and philosophy within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.
The role will begin as a contracted position, with the potential to transition into a permanent role for the right person who demonstrates commitment and impact in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 in Religious Education.
- Foster curiosity, respect, and understanding among students of all backgrounds.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop curriculum and enrichment opportunities.
- Participate in department meetings, training, and school events as required.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Religious Education within a UK secondary school.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for RE and for helping students develop critical thinking and empathy.
- A commitment to professional development and long-term contribution to the school community.
