Job Title: Tower Crane Operator
Location: Broadstairs
Start Date: 15th May
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking tower crane operator, to join our client's team in Broadstairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate the tower crane to lift and move materials, ensuring precise placement of loads.
- Collaborate with ground crew, engineers, and site supervisors to follow site plans and instructions.
- Perform daily inspections of the crane to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations and safety protocols.
- Monitor weather conditions and make operational decisions based on safety and efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of crane operations, maintenance, and inspections.
Requirements:
- Valid Tower Crane Operator Certification (CPCS or equivalent).
- Proven experience operating tower cranes in a construction environment.
- Strong understanding of crane mechanics and operations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to read and understand construction plans and blueprints.
- A high regard for safety and a proactive approach to risk management.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job.
