Location: Bournemouth

Salary: £47,500 - £77,500 OTE

Our client is seeking a talented Bodyshop Manager / Bodyshop Controller / General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their high-performing bodyshop. This role is key to delivering outstanding customer service and achieving strong site profitability by motivating, supporting, and leading the team to deliver top-quality repairs on time, every time.

The successful candidate will actively manage the full customer journey, ensuring an exceptional service from the first booking to vehicle return.

Responsibilities of a Bodyshop Manager / Bodyshop Controller / General Manager

  • Deliver financial results in line with agreed budget targets
  • Manage site resources and costs to maximise capability and profitability
  • Effectively manage work provider and supplier relationships
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, PAS125, and manufacturer standards
  • Oversee company processes and structured performance management
  • Maintain a professional and confident presence while engaging with customers and staff

Skills and Qualifications for a Bodyshop Manager / Bodyshop Controller / General Manager

  • Proven experience in performance management and staff leadership
  • Understanding of HR policies and recruitment procedures
  • Audatex experience is essential
  • Ideally experienced with modern management systems and printed estimating packages (desirable but not essential)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication skills and a calm, confident approach
