Live-In Position for a Senior Sous chef to join a Boutique Luxury Hotel in the Cotswolds. £46,680 + Tronc.

Our client has recently launched two bold new dining concepts within their hotel, combining refined British cuisine with a focus on seasonal ingredients and elegant simplicity. Following the success of similar ventures within their group, they are now seeking a talented and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join their senior kitchen team and play a pivotal role in shaping its future.

This is a live-in position with comfortable on-site accommodation provided, making it ideal for chefs relocating or seeking a new lifestyle opportunity within a stunning setting.

About the Role:

As Senior Sous Chef, youll be a key leader in the kitchen, working alongside the Head Chef to oversee daily operations, uphold the highest standards, and drive innovation. Youll take ownership of service quality, mentoring the brigade, and ensuring each dish reflects the venues commitment to culinary excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading kitchen operations and supporting the Head Chef across all services

  • Ensuring consistency, precision, and excellence in every dish

  • Training, mentoring, and motivating junior chefs and Chef de Parties

  • Assisting with menu development and seasonal planning

  • Maintaining high standards in food hygiene, safety, and compliance

What Were Looking For:
  • Significant experience as a Senior Sous Chef or a strong Sous Chef in a high-end kitchen

  • A hands-on leader who thrives under pressure and leads by example

  • Passion for seasonal British cuisine and a deep respect for quality produce

  • Organised, efficient, and able to communicate clearly across the team
