General Manager, SO42 Hampshire, 5/7 days £50k
Overseeing this busy unique venue based near the New Forest, the catering & hospitality department delivers outstanding service across all areas from day to day catering to high quality events and functions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Overseeing and responsible for the operation as a whole
- Ensure the catering & hospitality operation delivers outstanding service
- Leading, training and developing your team
- Identifying and driving commercial opportunities to maximise revenue
- Maintaining strong client relationships – ensuring their expectations are exceeded as well as driving and growing the business
Working hours are 40hr per week, 5/7 days with some weekends
What we are looking for:
- An experienced General Manager with a proven work history in managing high-quality hospitality operations
- A strong background in hospitality or event management
- Strong financial acumen – able to manage budgets confidently and commercially minded
- Genuinely passionate about exceptional food, service and innovation
- Adapt at leading large teams with motivation and inspiration
- Attentive to detail with an exceptional eye for presentation
- Able to work under pressure whilst remaining calm and reasonable
