Early Years Assistant (Level 3)
Contract Type: Part-Time, Temporary
Location: Brockenhurst
Pay: £70 to £110 dependent on experience*
Start Date: May ‘25 to July ‘26 (potential to be made permanent for the right candidate)

We’re looking for a passionate and caring Early Years Assistant (Level 3) to join a dedicated early years team. You’ll work closely with our nursery staff to create a warm, engaging, and enriching environment.

Who are you?
- A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (essential).
- Experience of working in an early years setting, particularly with 3–5 year olds.
- A genuine love for working with young children and supporting their development.
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach, with a good sense of humour.
- A clear understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children’s learning and development through purposeful play, exploration, and adult-led activities.
- Encourage social skills, independence, and confidence in young learners.
- Help to establish clear routines that create a calm and supportive environment.
- Plan and deliver activities that promote the EYFS curriculum, in collaboration with the nursery lead.
- Observe, record, and contribute to the assessment of children's progress.
- Support children with additional needs where required.
