TeacherActive are currently recruiting Tutors to support the learning and development of Children requiring at home tutoring. TeacherActive is committed to closing the attainment gap for children outside of formal schooling.
We are recruiting for an Immediate start and we also recruit all year round.
We work with children services to enable Looked After Children to make progress in line with their non-looked after peers.
We work with a wide range of Looked After Children in care who have a diverse set of needs. Tutors provide learning assistance for young people preparing for exams or re-adjusting to mainstream education.
We are currently seeking tutors to support students in homes or libraries with the biggest focus on delivering core skills in English and Maths.
Skills and Experience:
– Teachers for The core subjects required, Maths & English especially.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Must be available for tuition 3-5 days a week
– Understanding and appreciation of working with vulnerable young people
– Positive behaviour strategy knowledge and experience of helping children self-regulate emotions
– Valid Enhanced DBS check.
– Excellent written communication and reporting
– Excellent timekeeping and reliability
