Painting Surveyor

Time 4 Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Painting Surveyor in Orpington to join a well-established, high professional Painting and Decorating company who specialise in both internal and external coating applications for commercial and residential

As Painting Surveyor, you will be working mainly out of their Orpington – North Lond Branch ,  and working with a variety of commercial and residential clients including properties including modern offices, grade listed properties, public spaces and high-end residential properties.
 

As Painting Surveyor, you will be working with a client who has a core focus on Quality service and Customer satisfaction and able to carry out work in Orpington and the surrounding areas. You will be required on occasion to travel & stay overnight when visiting clients.
 

Duties:
As Painting Surveyor:

• You will responsible for working on painting and decorating projects on both commercial and residential properties.
  Must be able to prepare and submit monthly valuations.
  Will be required to read and understand contractual documents.
  Required to price and submit variations to sub-contractors by liaising with estimating, design and site team and then liaise with main contractor to agree variations.
  Attend design meetings with clients and the design team to provide commercial support to designers. You will be working mainly from their Orpington Office - but will travel to different sites throughout North London.
   

Experience:

Previous experience of working on Painting and Decorating Projects is essential.
•    Surveying: 3 years minimum
•    Bachelor's degree – preferred but not essential
