Reception Teacher - January 2026 Start

We are seeking a dedicated and creative Reception Teacher to join a welcoming primary school from January 2026. You will take on full classroom teacher responsibilities, delivering high-quality teaching and learning in line with EYFS expectations.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact during the crucial early stages of a child's education - fostering independence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

Role Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver and assess inspiring lessons aligned with the EYFS framework
* Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
* Track pupil progress through observations, assessment and accurate record-keeping
* Build supportive relationships with pupils and parents to promote wellbeing and development
* Work collaboratively with the wider Early Years team to ensure consistency
* Take part in school duties, meetings and ongoing professional development

About You
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential
* Strong knowledge of EYFS pedagogy and child development
* Confident delivering full teacher responsibilities including planning, marking and assessment
* A nurturing and proactive approach, with strong behaviour management skills
* Able to inspire young learners through creative, play-based learning
