About the Role
As our Bar and Events Manager, you will:
- Recruit, train, and manage bar staff
- Handle cash, budgeting, and report on bar finances
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff and customers
- Ensure consistent, high-quality beverages are served to customers
- Oversee the event on the day, manage staff, and ensure everything runs smoothly
- Assist with the planning and coordination of events, including scheduling, logistics and setup
- Work with Marketing, Sales and Accounts team members
- Key holder for the building and lock/unlock the building as required
- Responsible for managing the tills and EPOS system and their effective use and making changes as required
- Might be asked to carry out other duties to the best of your abilities and to follow other reasonable tasks given to you and comply with the organisations rules, procedures and policies
About You
You will be someone who:
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Is organised, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced venue environment
- Brings a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
- Has previous events experience
- Has flexibility to work non-standard hours during events
