Academics are currently recruiting a KS3 Teacher to work in a specialist Autism school in Bromley, supporting students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and adaptable teacher who is committed to inclusive education and making a meaningful difference to young people with additional needs.
The Role:
Delivering engaging and differentiated KS3 lessons tailored to students with Autism
Creating a structured, supportive, and nurturing classroom environment
Adapting teaching strategies to meet individual learning and communication needs
Working closely with SEN Teaching Assistants, therapists, and the wider SEN team
Supporting students' academic progress, emotional regulation, and independence
Monitoring progress and contributing to EHCP targets and reviews
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching KS3 pupils, ideally within an SEN or Autism setting
Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills
Patient, resilient, and flexible teaching approach
Passion for supporting pupils with Autism and additional needs
