A Fantastic Opportunity for NQs from Family or Immigration SeatsWe're working with a highly regarded, specialist immigration practice that is now seeking a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join their growing Family Immigration team. This is an ideal role for someone who has completed a training contract with a seat in either family law or immigration law-or both-and is looking to develop a long-term career in this rewarding, client-centred area of practice.
The RoleYou will be advising and representing individuals and families on a broad range of family-based immigration matters, including:
- Partner and spouse visa applications
- Family reunification and dependent visa routes
- Private and family life claims under Article 8 ECHR
- EUSS family permits and naturalisation
- Appeals and complex case strategy
You'll manage your own caseload with support, while gaining exposure to high-quality, often life-changing work. The role offers direct client contact from day one and the chance to develop deep expertise within a well-respected team.
What We're Looking For
- Newly Qualified Solicitor (or qualifying soon) in England & Wales
- Completion of a seat in family law OR immigration law during your training contract (or strong paralegal experience in one of those areas)
- A genuine interest in the intersection of family and immigration law
- Strong communication, drafting, and client care skills
- Organised, enthusiastic, and able to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team
