Academics are seeking a Behaviour Learning Mentor to join a fantastic Provision in the Bromley area. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students who require additional guidance to reach their full potential - both academically and personally.

As a Behaviour Learning Mentor, you will play a key role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning, encouraging positive behaviour, and providing 1:1 and small group support. This role is ideal for someone with a background in education, psychology, youth work, or those aspiring to move into teaching or SEN support.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs across the school.

  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to implement behaviour support plans.

  • Deliver targeted interventions to improve engagement and progress.

  • Build positive relationships with pupils to promote confidence, self-esteem, and resilience.

  • Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour effectively, following school policies.



Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people with additional needs (in school or alternative settings).

  • A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach.

  • Good communication skills
