Maintenance & Construction Contractor

A well-established, Tier 1, fast-paced, and ambitious construction and maintenance contractor with a great reputation for providing excellent services to clients.
Role:
Our client is entering a rapid period of growth, delivering long-term partnering contracts with many of their clients.
We are therefore looking to add Site Managers to the team to help deliver all works across the scheme.
This will involve:
- Accountability for all daily operational activity and the management of operatives and sub-contractors
- Identifying, reviewing, and implementing the client's critical success factors for the project
- Ensuring quality and programme standards are delivered, avoiding any post-completion defects
- Maintaining high standards of safety and quality at all times
- Ensuring the project delivery plan is followed and kept to cost and timeframe expectations
Key Experience Required:
- Experience delivering projects within the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) framework is essential
- Awareness of SHDF Wave 1, 2.1, and 2.2 funding phases and evolving requirements.
- Experience coordinating retrofit works including insulation, ventilation upgrades, heating system improvements, and energy efficiency measures.
- Proven track record of delivering projects funded through the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF).
- Confident in reviewing and implementing SHDF compliance checklists, including data collection, monitoring, and validation processes.
- Previous experience with kitchen and bathroom replacements, window replacements, and re-roofing schemes
- Planned maintenance and refurbishment experience required
- Construction-related NVQ / HNC Level 4 and above
- Relevant CSCS card and SMSTS certificate
- Sound knowledge and compliance with health and safety requirements
- Full UK driving license
- Membership of or working towards RICS/MCIOB would be advantageous
