Long Term Futures are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Primary Teacher for a highly-rated primary school in the large South East London borough of Bromley.

Driving Primary Success

This is a vital full-time teaching role within a dynamic team. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons in line with the Primary National Curriculum. (Placement is likely in KS2, but flexibility to teach KS1 is highly valued). The school encourages collaborative planning to maximise impactful delivery.

  • Design and deliver high-quality, creative lessons aligned with the Primary National Curriculum.

  • Accurately assess pupil learning and progress to effectively differentiate instruction for all learners (SEND/EAL).

  • Establish and maintain a positive, focused classroom climate using consistent, proactive behaviour management strategies.

  • Forge strong, professional relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and colleagues.

  • Contribute actively to whole-school improvement initiatives.



Essential Candidate Requirements

  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent.

  • Crucially: We cannot accept applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs); candidates must have already completed their statutory induction period.

  • Requires successful prior teaching experience across multiple primary key stages (KS1 and KS2), demonstrating curriculum flexibility.

  • Demonstrate robust knowledge and understanding of the entire Primary National Curriculum and assessment.

  • Possess proven excellence in classroom management and inspiring pupil motivation.

  • Dedicated to upholding rigorous safeguarding protocols.
