Job: Technical Officer - Traffic Order

Location: London

Salary: 30 per hour

Overview of the role:

To carry out all necessary procedures involved in the making of Traffic Management Orders.

To fulfil the Council's responsibility to comply with the Government's statutory procedures when making experimental and permanent Traffic Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Experience of word processing and computer databases - in particular, Microsoft Word is desirable.
  • Experience of working with scale plans is desirable.
  • Experience in using PARKMAP and Map Explorer (essential).
  • Ability to design small parking schemes.
  • Report writing (essential).
