Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to make an impact in the social housing and planned maintenance sector We’re looking for a commercially minded professional to join a leading contractor delivering essential planned works across London and the Southeast. This is a full-time, permanent position offering stability, autonomy, and genuine career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing all commercial and financial aspects of planned maintenance and refurbishment projects.
- Preparing and presenting accurate monthly valuations, CVRs, and cost forecasts.
- Leading procurement and tendering of subcontractors and suppliers for planned works projects.
- Negotiating subcontract terms and ensuring compliance with JCT contracts.
- Driving cost control and value improvement, supporting delivery teams to meet financial targets.
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within social housing or planned maintenance projects in London or the Southeast.
- Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts (NEC/TPC desirable).
- Excellent commercial awareness and confidence managing budgets, variations, and final accounts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and commercial software such as COINS or C-Link.
