Quantity Surveyor – Social Housing & Public Building Refurbishment

Tier One Main Contractor
Location: Bromley
Salary: Up to £60,000 Benefits

A leading tier one main contractor is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Bromley team, delivering a variety of small refurbishment contracts across social housing properties and public buildings. The work will include a mix of planned and responsive refurbishment projects, offering variety and hands-on involvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commercial management of small refurbishment contracts

  • Cost planning, forecasting, and reporting

  • Procurement and management of subcontractors

  • Preparation of valuations, variations, and final accounts

  • Liaising with site teams, clients, and supply chain partners

  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to contractual standards

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a main contractor environment

  • Experience in small refurbishment projects, social housing, or public buildings desirable

  • Strong commercial and contractual knowledge

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
