About the Role
Academics is recruiting a dedicated and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Provision in Bromley. You will work closely with students who have a range of Special Educational Needs-including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and learning difficulties-supporting them both academically and emotionally to help them thrive in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students 1:1 and in small groups across a variety of subjects.

  • Assist the class teacher with planning, classroom management, and differentiated learning tasks.

  • Implement personalised support strategies to meet individual student needs.

  • Build positive, trusting relationships with students to promote engagement.

  • Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.

About You

  • Experience working with children with SEN (in school, care, or similar settings).

  • Patient, empathetic, and confident in supporting diverse learning needs.

  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.

  • A genuine passion for supporting young people's development.

  • Degree holders, Level 2/3 TA qualifications, or those with relevant experience are welcomed.
