An incredible Special School in Bromley is seeking an experienced and passionate English Teacher to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a supportive and inspiring learning environment.
The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons across Key Stages, tailored to meet the needs of pupils with SEMH.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that encourages student progress and personal growth.
- Work closely with the wider school team, parents, and external professionals to provide holistic support for students.
- Contribute to the school's strong focus on reading, literacy, and fostering a lifelong love of learning.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven teaching experience within a SEN/SEMH setting.
- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
- Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and high expectations for all learners.
