Teach and inspire primary pupils with ASD and complex needs in a supportive SEN school.

About the school:
This is a primary SEN school in Bromley that supports children with autism and associated needs. The school provides a nurturing and structured environment, helping pupils develop communication, social, and academic skills through tailored teaching and a holistic approach.

About the role:
The SEN Teacher will plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons for primary-aged pupils with ASD. You will manage a team of support staff, implement individual learning plans, and work collaboratively with therapists and parents to ensure pupils thrive. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity with strong potential for professional growth.

We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:

  • Deliver engaging lessons adapted for pupils with ASD and complex needs
  • Differentiate learning to suit a wide range of abilities
  • Manage and support teaching assistants in class

Requirements - The ideal candidate would have:

  • QTS or QTLS with experience teaching in SEN or mainstream primary
  • Knowledge of strategies for supporting children with ASD and communication needs
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A patient, creative, and resilient approach
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
