Your new companyA fantastic opportunity to join an independent accountancy firm as a Senior Tax Associate in a fast and dynamic team.This rare opportunity will see you working closely with Partners of the business and you'll be given the opportunity to work with some exciting clients within the entertainment industry.

Your new roleYou will oversee a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with UK tax regulations, managing reporting requirements, and keeping them informed of deadlines. Your role will involve handling client queries, gathering essential information for filings, and liaising with internal departments. You will prepare complex UK tax returns, analyse financial details, and communicate tax implications to senior management or clients. Additionally, you'll support tax advisory work, assist with intricate matters, and oversee junior staff, reviewing their work and maintaining deadlines. Managing workload effectively is key, and you will also participate in internal Tax Technical training sessions to enhance expertise.

What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this role you will have 2+ years' experience within a personal tax role with some experience of working with Owner Managed businesses. You will hold an ATT/CTA qualification or be willing to pursue them, with access to our on-the-job training and study support.

You will have strong written and verbal communication skills, excel at grasping technical concepts and continuously expanding your knowledge and enjoy researching legislation to provide insightful client responses.

Confident and proactive, you build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues, demonstrating ambition and professionalism.
