A well-regarded independent financial planning firm is on the lookout for an experienced paraplanner to join their technical team. This hybrid role offers the perfect blend of home and office-based work, supporting a team of advisers with high-quality financial research and client reporting.

What You’ll Do:

As a financial planning paraplanner, you’ll play a key role in delivering compliant, well-researched suitability reports across multiple financial advice areas. You'll support advisers in developing tailored client strategies and ensure technical accuracy in all documentation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough research on investment and pension products using approved software tools.

  • Producing detailed reports for clients, including complex cases such as pension transfers and tax planning.

  • Collaborating closely with advisers to ensure accurate case progression and strong client outcomes.

  • Participating in firm-wide research initiatives and supporting the training of junior team members or trainee paraplanners.

  • Staying current with regulatory and industry changes to ensure all advice meets compliance standards.

What We’re Looking For:

To succeed in this paraplanning position, you’ll need:

  • Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS or equivalent).

  • Prior experience as a technical paraplanner within an IFA or wealth management firm.

  • Excellent written skills with a strong grasp of financial concepts and cashflow modelling.

  • Confidence using financial planning tools and CRM systems.

  • A meticulous eye for detail and a passion for quality, client-focused work.
