Overview of the role:

EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a CAD CAM Programmer to join a precision engineering company located on the outskirts of South Birmingham working on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Manufacturing Manager in achieving objectives
• Create robust programs for EDM/Laser/CNC machinery
• Designing jigs, fixtures and press tools

Successful applicants for the role ofCAD CAM Programmer must be able to demonstrate:

• Demonstrated experience working as aCAD CAM Programmer with a focus on Laser, CNC orWire EDM machining
• Previous experience in Automotive, Aerospace & Defence, Power Generation, Medical, Nuclearindustries
• Minimum 5years experience in Programming offline using CAD CAM packages
• Engineering competence with Solidworks or similar CAD packages
• Able to create jigs and fixtures - tooling and fixturing design experience
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Proactive approach and strong willingness to learn new manufacturing techniques
