We are seeking a Project Administrator to support the commercial team in the successful delivery of major industrial projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career within a high-performing commercial function. You'll play a key role in supporting commercial processes, managing documentation, and liaising with both internal teams and external partners to keep everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation and management of project documentation, including contracts, variations, and purchase orders.
Maintain accurate records of all commercial and financial data.
Support the Quantity Surveying team with administrative tasks, such as compiling reports and processing invoices.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotes, chase approvals, and track delivery schedules.
Organise and maintain digital and physical filing systems related to procurement, payments, and contracts.
Help with data entry for cost tracking and forecasting tools.
Attend project and commercial meetings, taking minutes and following up on actions when required.
Requirements
Previous experience in a administrative role within construction.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word); experience with COINS, Viewpoint, or similar platforms is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
A proactive approach and willingness to support the team across a range of duties.
