Job Title: Welder
Location: Bromsgrove
Contract Details: Temporary to Permanent (after qualifying period)
Salary: 15.00 - 18.00 per hour (weekly pay)

Responsibilities:

* Execute Mig and Tig welding on mild steel pipework (diameter 3"-12" o/d, wall thickness 6-10mm)
* Perform minimal stainless welding on shells (8"-16" o/d, wall thickness 10s)
* Read and interpret engineering drawings with precision
* Maintain high standards of workmanship ensuring finished welds are aesthetically pleasing for painting
* Collaborate with a small, skilled team to achieve project goals
* Adhere to all safety protocols while working

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

* Proven experience in fabrication welding
* Ability to work from engineering drawings
* High attention to detail and quality
* Experience working with a variety of welding techniques (Mig, Tig)
* Strong commitment to safety in the workplace

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

* Coded welding experience preferred
* Previous experience in a similar industrial environment
* Familiarity with welding standards and practises
